How to Use the Trophy Program
1. SUBMIT PURCHASE AGREEMENT AND ORDER FORM: In order to participate in the DCA Trophy Plan or use the plan’s language in a premium list or catalog, a “Purchase Agreement” must be signed by an officer of the Club or the event chairperson and submitted along with a check payable to DCA as a down payment on the club’s expected trophy usage. 2. DUE DATE: The “Trophy Plan Purchase Agreement” must be received by the trophy chairperson at least 12 weeks prior to the event. There is no guarantee that you will receive your supplies in time for your event if you submit the purchase agreement and order form after the due date. Supplies are shipped by ground, no exceptions. 3. USE CURRENT FORMS: The forms are occasionally updated so always check the DCA website to make sure that you have the most current form. Orders which are not printed on the current forms or not accompanied by correct payment cannot be accepted and will be returned. 4. CHECK TROPHY LANGUAGE: Trophy language for the premium list is occasionally updated. Always check the DCA website for the current language and submit the current language to your printer or show secretary. TROPHY AND PREMIUM LIST LANGUAGE
5. REPORT ENTRIES: If you need additional supplies, notify the DCA trophy chairman as soon as you receive your entry numbers. Additional supplies will be sent along with a billing notice. 6. DAY OF EVENT: Award the supplies as approved by the board. Remember that you must use the EXACT DCA approved language in your premium list and you must apply the program exactly as approved by the DCA Board. . 7. COMPLETE ON-LINE REPORT FORM: Complete the on-line report form on the DCA website. RETURN UNUSED ITEMS FOR REFUND: DCA will give you a refund for any returned items worth more than $10.00 if these items are returned to the trophy chair within 30 days of your event.
What to do if you do not receive the DCA trophy promised in the premium list CONTACT THE DCA TROPHY CHAIRMAN OR THE CLUB: If you do not receive a promised trophy, contact the DCA Trophy chairman or the show chairman for the event.
